This is a rare item! Vintage Nelson British Columbia - B. Canada - the Nelson Maple Leafs 1968 Championship Hockey jacket. This jacket was issued to a player from that very tema.

It wasn't something available to the public, so very few of them exist. Guaranteed to be a rare item, this gabardine jacket is sharp! Made for them by Athlete's Wear in Winnipeg, it features a creamy white cotton or gabardine outer with a nice satin lining. The stretch waistband and cuffs in dark green and white match the green snap buttons. Well-made with nicely finished pockets and comfortable fine-fitting raglan style sleeves.

Nice crest on the front and number 15 on one arm. Great jacket for the hockey fan, Nelson native or BC hockey fan. Even a Vancouver Canucks fan could wear this jacket, after all it is a "NELSON" Maple Leafs jacket, not a Toronto Maple Leafs jacket.

All items fit differently so please follow measurements. Size is tagged a 42 - it's a roomy 42, may fit a 44 as well, but we recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit. All measurements taken on outside of jacket, buttoned and laid flat. Chest taken under arms - 47 inches. Shoulders - raglan style - measured across the back from (approximate) shoulder seam to seam - 19 inches.

Sleeve - raglan style - from bottom of collar seam to sleeve cuff - 29.5 inches. Length taken from top to bottom of coat 27 in. Bottom edge measured all the way around - 31 stretches to about 36 inches. It's in excellent condition, the colours are clear and sharp, shows almost no wear at all and is very clean. Green snap closures have only minor rubbing.

Waistband and cuffs retain lots of elasticity. No holes or tears or notable wear.

Couple very small spots, so as with all pre-owned items, we recommend cleaning it. Overseas will be more, we estimate around 84.00 for express air with tracking - but our actual cost will be what you pay. We will do our best to resolve any problems or issues that might arise.
