This incredible Toronto Maple Leafs jersey is from the 2017-18 regular season and is a size 58. This beautiful piece was worn by 2016 #1 overall draft pick and current American-born NHL superstar Auston Matthews in the latter stages of the 2017-18 NHL season and into the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs against Boston. It has some light but decent wear throughout the arms and a few marks on the chest and shoulders. Auston wore this jersey while scoring the game-winning goal against the Islanders in Brooklyn on March 28th (his 31st of the season) as you can see in the below link. This will also be accompanied by a very nice photograph of him wearing the jersey in Boston for the playoffs that year and a certificate of authenticity from Real Sports in Toronto. Auston scored 34 goals in only 62 games during the 2017-18 while following up a stellar 40-goal rookie season the year before. He would have had 50 goals this year if not for the season being cut short. I don't have to tell you that this kid is the real deal and will (hopefully) lead the Maple Leafs/USA Hockey teams to great things very soon. I highly doubt there are many more like this in the hobby right now so whether you're a Leafs fan or a collector like me, don't miss out on this remarkable piece of hockey history!
